I am already working now and my supervisor does not know that I am seeking other employment, will you notify them or call them for any reason?

Any and all information sent to us by a candidate is kept under strict confidentiality. We would never contact any of your employers or references without your permission. Also, we would never post your resume or in any other way present you to a company without asking you first. You can be assured we are completely discreet - if you give us a work number we would never identify why we are calling if someone else answers.

How can I apply for more than one position at BioInsights.com?

Under "Job Search" use the "Submit Resume" screen, you can make notes in the comments box at the bottom.

How much will it cost me if I am hired for a position that I submitted my resume to at BioInsights?

There is never any fee or cost to the candidate (job-seeker). All fees are paid by the employer seeking qualified talent and are never taken out of a candidate's salary or compensation.

Why would an employer use a recruiter to find people?

Many employers do not have the time or resources to sort through the hundreds or even thousands of candidates in the job market today to find what they seek. The Human Resource departments often have many functions and may not have the time needed to find the "best person for the job." This is where a professional recruiter steps in and fills their needs. The recruiter can sort through candidates who apply for positions and study the candidates background, references, and qualifications, making sure that the employer gets what they want (without spending resources and time) and making sure the candidate gets what they want by negotiating with both and acting as an intermediary to be sure both parties needs are fulfilled.

Why should I use a recruiter instead of just posting my resume online?

Professional recruiters have the "inside track" to open positions in your field. They already have the contacts in the companies and are often privy to more information about positions than you will see in advertisements. They will not only help assess your qualifications for a position, but will also be able to use your personal information to help negotiate a better employment package to suit your individual needs.

What will a professional recruiter do for me as a job candidate?

They may be able to give you advice on your resume. Showcase your talent to companies who may not be publicly advertising for open positions. Help you prepare for an interview better, because they are familiar with the hiring authorities personality and needs. Give you feedback after an interview and possibly help you negotiate a better deal if the offer does not meet your needs. Possibly keep you apprised of current industry trends and offer advice on better ways to market your skills and talent.

Why can't you tell me the name of the company that has the open position right away?

Many companies do not have the time to spend to interview numerous candidates. We take the time to screen candidates qualifications and references to be sure that the employer's and candidate's needs are in agreement. We will check on references and qualifications as required by the employer. The employer is happy because now he can spend more time interviewing highly suitable candidates for his position and the candidate is happy because they will not find out later that they did not have all the requirements needed for the position.

Why shouldn't I just use a huge nationwide recruiter that lists several opportunities in multiple states?

What candidates often don't know is that many of those huge recruiting firms are advertising positions that don't exist. When they say they are seeking "top talent in the field...several openings throughout the state in the industry," they are actually seeking marketable goods - you! They may not even have any open positions in that area yet. The way they seek positions from employers is by getting your resume in their hands and then using you as a marketing tool. It does work - for them, but how much do you benefit from it? They are using you as a product to sell and market to garner more business, meanwhile you are getting nothing from this deal. You may also find that after marketing you and getting their new commissions, they lose all interest in you and stop returning your calls, because they never really had a position for you to begin with and are now working on real positions. Be wary of any positions that do not seem too specific in their requirements, if they seem too generalized, it is probably because they do not exist. At BioInsights, we believe that our integrity and sincerity in what we offer employers and candidates is what will make us stand out as a highly respected firm that deals with only real positions and real people. We do not post positions that don't exist just to draw you in. Every position we list on our website or speak with you about is 100% genuine. While we may not currently have exactly what you are looking, be assured that what we do offer now and in the future is real. We do our best to keep all our listed positions as up to date as possible.
