Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Proteins
This course is designed to familiarize students and employees with the biochemistry and molecular biology of proteins. Topics covered in this course include ; 1). protein synthesis, 2). protein folding and three dimensional structures of proteins, 3). expression of native and recombinant proteins and 4). a brief overview of proteomics. "Hands-on" laboratory experiments are included to showcase these principles.
Students or employees who may benefit from this course include: laboratory technicians, chemists, manufacturing technicians, pharmaceutical operators, quality control and assurance personnel and sales representatives.
